Alpinestars neck brace designed and developed to protect the neck of karting and motocross pilots.
If the helmet is in contact with the neck brace at the time of impact, the total load on the neck can be reduced, which can prevent a fracture and reduce the chance of muscle injury due to extreme head movement.
While it is not possible to eliminate the risk of any type of injury, the brace has been proven to help reduce more serious damage and minimize the risk of collateral injury as impact load is channeled away from the neck.
