The connected V16 signal is the new mandatory hazard warning device approved by the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) to definitively replace emergency triangles from 1 January 2026.
Designed to improve road safety, this beacon is placed on the broken-down or accident-damaged vehicle without the need to leave the passenger compartment, significantly reducing the risk of being hit by another vehicle on the road.
Thanks to its 360° visible light emission and integrated IoT connectivity, the V16 beacon can communicate the vehicle's location to the DGT in real time, activating automatic alerts on traffic panels and road management systems.
Equipped with geolocation technology, HERO DRIVER LED automatically transmits the vehicle's location to the DGT 3.0, notifying activation, deactivation and position in real time for fast and efficient assistance.
