Maximizing braking performance and balance in a racing vehicle is critical to success. Properly adjusted brakes not only stop a vehicle faster and more predictably, but also reduce wear on braking components and tires and ultimately increase rider confidence and enjoyment. While the installation of a brake master cylinder balance cable is common in racing cars, many teams do not have the confidence or knowledge to take full advantage of it.
ADVANTAGES OVER A TRADITIONAL BALANCE CABLE:
Traditional master cylinder balancing cables have between 40 and 80 adjustment positions and to know with complete certainty which position the cast is in, rally and track drivers must count the "clicks" down to the zero position.
Now, with the LCD screen of the Monit Brake Dial, riders always know where the balance is between the front and rear axle.
FEATURES:
1. In addition to the LCD display, the built-in dial "clicks" every 1/4 turn ensures unmatched precision.
2. If the Monit Brake Dial is installed in a two-driver team car, both drivers can regulate it and set two individual zero points and make adjustments from those reference points.
3. The installation does not require any electrical wiring because the power is provided by a button cell (CR2032) that provides autonomy for 18 months. In any case, the device has a low battery indicator.
4. Compatible with all Tilton, Wilwood, AP Racing, Brembo, OBP and Alcon brake calipers.
